A few times each year, I host a small number of collectors in East Bali for an intimate experience combining custom tattooing, rest, nature, healing practices and meaningful connection.

Why I Created Even Closer
After years of tattooing people from all over the world, I noticed something.
The conversations often became as meaningful as the tattoo itself.
People weren't only seeking artwork.
They were seeking space.
To breathe.
To reflect.
To reconnect with themselves.
Even Closer was born from that realisation.
How many days?
The experience is designed to last between;
3 / 4 or 6 nights
Depending of number of sessions required for your tattoo design. It is all included one resting day.
Exemple;
1 day tattoo session is equal 3 nights ( arrival day , tattoo day , resting day and check out in the next morning)
Allowing enough time for tattoo sessions, rest, wellness activities, and meaningful connection.
Investment
The total investment depends on the number of days required to complete your piece. I charge per tattoo session/day a day session has 6 hours of tattooing.
If your project requires multiple sessions, you can choose to book them one at a time or schedule multiple consecutive days, allowing you to complete your piece in the shortest possible time.
A $1,350 USD / €1,350 booking fee is required once your project and dates are confirmed. This fee is deducted from your total investment and applied to your final tattoo session.

I would strongly recommend Even Closer if the healing work appeals to you. I would not recommend it to everyone. If you just want a really nice tattoo and a vacation I would say to look elsewhere. The tattoo is part of this, but it is far more than a tattoo in the jungle and a really nice villa. There is real work, tears and connection that will happen if you show up for it. The tattoo is part of the healing, as are the healing practices and also the connection being created between humans. Maiza taught me how to drive her scooter and we climbed up an unmarked mountain trail to find a view of the ocean. We laughed, cried and ate dragonfruit. We danced and were silly. We talked about hard things and about joy. I left the experience with far more than I could have dreamed.
